Weapon reloading time and fire rate

This time, a little hint, as I'm not quite sure if everyone has already noticed that there are a few other criteria regarding weapons, which are not shown on Battlelog or ingame.

Firstly, let's take a look on the common stats wich we can see on Battlelog. I'll take the following two sniper rifles as an example.

By looking on these stats one could say, ok the SRR-61 is clearly better, as the most important stats, like damage, accuracy and range are even or better. In Addition, the SRR-61 has a bigger magazine size (8 vs 6).

But, it's not that easy, as every weapon has a number of other stats, which can be a decisive advantage, like the fire rate or various reloading times.

If we take a more detailed look on the two sniper rifles, we will find out that the GOL Magnum has a 50% higher fire rate and a 15% faster reload, which can have a huge impact, especially if we think about sniping duels on hardcore servers.

So if you need more detailed information about your Battlefield 4 weapons check out the following:

Map loading time

If your Battlefield 4 Multiplayer maps are loading too long and all flags are already captured as you spawn for the first time, then you should try the following:

As probably most of you are using antivirus software like Avira Free Antivirus, you should exclude the following Battlefield 4 working directories and files from the Realtime Scan and/or System Scan (depending on the product you are using):

C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 4

X:\Path\To\Your\Battlefied4Folder

X:\Path\To\Your\Battlefied4Folder\bf4.exe

X:\Path\To\Your\Battlefied4Folder\bf4_x86.exe

I'll bet you will get a performance boost, but if it's still not enough, you may need a SSD.

Port 3659 Error

An annoying error since February:

"Game disconnected: Client closed down connection. Check your network connection and make sure that port 3659 (UDP) is open."

According to the Battlefield 4 Forums this error occurs randomly, but mostly if two players behind the same router are trying to join the same server.

The following solution finally solved the problem:

1. Download the "Smart Port Forwarding" Tool (or a similar Port Forwarding Tool):

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Network-Tools/Misc-Networking-Tools/Smart-Port-Forwarding.shtml

2. Install and start the program

3. Right-Cick inside the window and pick "Add new Forwarding Port"

4. Add two forwarded ports like shown on the screenshots below:
